Who Are We? 

   Professor Recycle is a non-profit organization in the state of Michigan that recycles old and broken cell phones and electronics. Professor Recycle offers a unique recycling program were schools, organizations, religious organizations, as well as individuals can send in any old and broke cell phones ad electronics and actually get paid for them. What makes this even more unique is that Professor Recycle not only pays your for old and broken cell phones and electronics, but they also give donations to low income/under served schools across the United States!

What's Our Goal?

Our goal at Professor recycle Inc. is to build and improve communities through recycling.

What's The Recycling Process?

     The first thing we do is separate the working electronics from the non working electronics. We then either part out or refurbish the working electronics. We assure you that no electronics will be sold or refurbished overseas. Unlike other for profit companies we do not sell overseas because many developing countries don't have the proper resources to recycle the electronics after use, like we do.

     The broken electronics will be recycled in ecologically sound methods. They will be broken down, separated (plastic, circuit boards, metals, screens, etc. ), and recycled.

 All items are recycled in ecologically sound methods with a strict no landfill policy.

Our "No Landfill Policy"

1.  No e-waste (non-working handsets, boards, batteries, accessories, digital cameras, mp3 players, and ink jet or toner cartridges) will be sent to any landfills.
2.  No e-waste (non-working handsets, boards, batteries, accessories, digital cameras, mp3 players, and ink jet or toner cartridges) will be processed in developing countries. Professor Recycle will make every effort to insure smelting and refining operations meet all applicable environmental regulations.  
3.  RECHARGEABLE BATTERY RECYCLING: Batteries are sent to a 3rd party that processes them according to EPA guidelines for the proper disposal and recycling of rechargeable batteries.
4. No cardboard boxes or paper are processed in landfills. At Professor Recycle Inc. we make every effort to use recyclable material (cardboard, paper, ink, etc.) in our working environment.  All cardboard and paper is responsibly recycled at local recycling facilities.

How It Works!

    Recycling cell phones and electronics is a great way to raise funds for your school or organization. Just simply register, send in the phones and electronics that you have collected, and you will receive your payment by check or Paypal within 20 business days.

    Not only do we pay you for your cell phones and electronics, but we also donate to under served schools across the United States.
