What's The Recycling Process?

The first thing we do is separate the working electronics from the non working electronics. We then either part out or refurbish the working electronics. We assure you that no electronics will be sold or refurbished overseas. Unlike other for profit companies we do not sell overseas because many developing countries don't have the proper resources to recycle the electronics after use, like we do.

The broken electronics will be recycled in ecologically sound methods. They will be broken down, separated (plastic, circuit boards, metals, screens, etc. ), and recycled.

All items are recycled in ecologically sound methods with a strict no landfill policy.

 

 

Our "No Landfill Policy"

1. No e-waste (non-working handsets, boards, batteries, accessories, digital cameras, mp3 players, and ink jet or toner cartridges) will be sent to any landfills.
2. No e-waste (non-working handsets, boards, batteries, accessories, digital cameras, mp3 players, and ink jet or toner cartridges) will be processed in developing countries. Professor Recycle will make every effort to insure smelting and refining operations meet all applicable environmental regulations.
3. RECHARGEABLE BATTERY RECYCLING: Batteries are sent to a 3rd party that processes them according to EPA guidelines for the proper disposal and recycling of rechargeable batteries.
4. No cardboard boxes or paper are processed in landfills. At Professor Recycle Inc. we make every effort to use recyclable material (cardboard, paper, ink, etc.) in our working environment. All cardboard and paper is responsibly recycled at local recycling facilities.
